BETWEEN MODERNISM AND THE ROMAN HERITAGE

THE EIXAMPLE

The Seasons Restaurant is located at number 10 of Plaza Corsini, in the heart of the city of Tarragona. It is located just a few meters from the modernist building of the Central Market, inaugurated in 195, renovated in 2017 and designed by the architect Josep Maria Pujol de Barberà. It is essential to visit it because of its architectural appeal, but also because it is the creadle of the seasonal and local product of the city.Nex to the restaurant we can find the Colony Forum, one of the two Roman forums we can find in our city. It is an unavoidable visit, given the importance that this space had during the Roman empire time. Here all the public activity of the city was concentrated, so it became a meeting point for the local elites.
